Join us for our weekly Lone Mountain Ranch Rodeo where we challenge cowboys and cowgirls to a competition for bragging rights and the honor of wearing our Ranch Buckle!
 
We bring you the ultimate Montana experience – a weekly Tuesday night rodeo event that is not to be missed. Enjoy elevated Montana street food as you watch skilled cowboys and cowgirls showcase their talents in various competitions, including bull riding, barrel racing, ranch roping, and more. You’ll witness firsthand the agility, strength, and bravery of these athletes as they compete for the title of rodeo champion. The rodeo is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the Wild West culture and create unforgettable memories.
 
*For ranch guests staying on our Summer Discover package, you do not need to purchase rodeo tickets separately, we’ve already counted your group in and reserved your spots!

Event Schedule:

Rodeos from June 9 through September 1:

  • 5:15 PM – Shuttles begin from the parking lot
  • 5:30 PM – Food & Bar Tent opens
  • 6:00 PM – National Anthem
  • 6:05–8:00 PM – Rodeo
  • After the rodeo – Live music in the Saloon (drinks not included)

Rodeos on September 8, 15, and 22:

  • 4:15 PM – Shuttles begin from the parking lot
  • 4:30 PM – Food & Bar Tent opens
  • 5:00 PM – National Anthem
  • 5:05–7:00 PM – Rodeo
  • After the rodeo – Live music in the Saloon (drinks not included)

Your Rodeo Experience Includes:

  • Elevated Montana Street Food
  • Beer Wine, and Non-Alcoholic Beverages
  • Live rodeo events including barrel racing, single and team breakaway roping, bucking broncs, and bulls

Event Parking & Arrival:

Please have your tickets available to show the parking attendant when you arrive at the ranch. You will be directed where to park, after which your tickets will be digitally scanned. Shuttles will then transport you up to the ridge for the rodeo.

Group Ticket Policy:

To ensure the best possible experience for all guests, ticket purchases are limited to a maximum of 12 adults per group. Ticketing activity will be monitored, and any Eventbrite purchases exceeding 12 adult tickets within a single group or coordinated transaction will be cancelled and refunded.
For groups larger than 12 adults, a limited number of private group rodeos are available for 2026. For private rodeo inquiries for 2026 or 2027, please contact [email protected].

Military Discount:

We’re proud to offer a 10% discount to military members and their families. Please enter promo code MILITARY at checkout and present valid ID upon check-in.

Refund & Transfer Policy:

All tickets are final sale and non-refundable. The rodeo is held rain or shine.
 
If your plans change, tickets may be transferred to another available rodeo date by logging into your Eventbrite account and managing your order directly through the Eventbrite system.

A Not-to-be-missed Activity in Big Sky. Overall our best experience on Big Sky trip. The horse-drawn sleigh ride to and from the cabin was charming, but the meal at the cabin was FANTASTIC! Homemade everything!!!
