TRANSPORTATION & GETTING AROUND
Is transportation included with the All-Inclusive Summer Discovery package?
Yes. Luxury door-to-door transportation is included with your Summer Discovery stay, including airport transfers, a guided tour to Yellowstone and transportation into town and local area. You do not need a rental car.
Are airport transfers to and from Bozeman included?
Yes. Complimentary transportation to and from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is included and coordinated by your pre-arrival concierge team.
Is transportation complimentary to other Big Sky hotels or locations such as One & Only, Montage, or the Yellowstone Club?
Transportation to these locations is not complimentary, but our concierge team is happy to arrange transportation for an additional fee as per our transportation pricing guide. Transportation to restaurants, shops and hotels in Big Sky Town Center is complementary from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Can I book a private shuttle or transfer with no other guests?
Yes. Private transportation can be arranged for an additional fee, subject to availability. Please contact the concierge team in advance for pricing and coordination.
FOOD & DINING
What meals are included with the All-Inclusive Summer Discovery package?
The All-Inclusive Summer Discovery package includes 3 meals a day at the Horn & Cantle and a Sunday Night Ranch BBQ. We strongly recommend submitting dining requests at the time of booking to increase the likelihood of securing preferred dates and times. All reservations are subject to availability.
Do I need to pay for morning coffee service?
No. Morning coffee is complimentary and delivered by 7:00 am directly to your cabin door, along with your preferred milk.
Does the All-Inclusive Summer Discovery package include Auric Room?
The All-Inclusive Summer Discovery package includes an Auric Room Guest Pass to our private membership supper club & speakeasy. Food and alcohol at the Auric Room is not included with this package.
Can children enter the Auric Room?
No. The Auric Room is a 21+ venue. Children, including infants, are not permitted. All guests must adhere to Auric Room rules and guidelines
CABINS & THE RANCH
Do I book a room or a cabin?
You book a cabin. Each reservation includes a specific, named cabin—most are standalone with no shared walls. There are no hallways, elevators, or hotel floors. You step outside into Montana winter.
Are all cabins the same?
No. Each of our 26 cabins is distinct, ranging from intimate one-bedroom retreats to large multi-bedroom lodges. All cabins share privacy, fireplaces, vinyl record players, and complimentary beverages and snacks provided on check-in day for guests.
What housekeeping services are included during my stay?
Daily housekeeping service is provided for all cabins, along with nightly turndown service. Guest laundry facilities are also available on property for your convenience.
What is there to do on the Ranch itself?
The Ranch maintains 85 kilometers of groomed Nordic ski trails with complimentary trail passes and rentals for all guests. Snowshoeing, sledding, s’mores by the fire, and quiet walks through the property are all part of daily life here.
Is Lone Mountain Ranch family-friendly?
Yes. Families value the space of the cabins, outdoor activities, animals on property, and the freedom for children to explore safely—without the formality of a traditional hotel environment.
