Experience
The Ranch is as much a playground for children as it is for adults. This youth program builds confidence through outdoor recreation, develops an appreciation for nature, and most of all gives young people the space to roam, have fun, and connect with each other. Experienced and energetic staff will lead kids through a variety of adventures geared to inspire and challenge all age groups. For guests staying on ranch, the rangers program is open to children ages 3-14. For the local community, ages 6-14 are welcome.
Our action-packed daily schedule features age-based, on-ranch hikes to some of our most scenic trails—including Bullwinkle’s Loop, Discovery Trail, Nature Trail, and Creekside. Each route offers a unique way to explore the natural beauty of the ranch, tailored to match the pace and interests of every age group.
Creative campers roll up their sleeves for hands-on crafts like cowboy hat decorating, rock painting, bird feeder building, poster and map design, boat making, and horse treat crafting.
The Great Lawn is the hub for classic outdoor fun—volleyball, kickball, horseshoes, cornhole, capture the flag, spontaneous creek play, and field trips to the local park.
On Ranch Guests: Lone Mountain Rangers is a beloved part of the experience for families and reunion groups staying on our Discovery package. Kids are free to dip in and out as they please, then rejoin the family for meals and shared adventures.
Local Community: Rangers is also open to the local community and guests staying on our Bed & Breakfast package. To make a reservation for camp in one week increments, use the booking link above.
